MYLE'S DIVINE DONUTS

Myles mini donuts

Donut lovers can now get their fix at the Divine Mini Donuts cart, which can be found at the Green Valley Government Center five days a week.

Owners Ed and Diana Myles of Sahuarita serve up the scrumptious donuts and other food items Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The cart is located near to the Vehicle Division at a convenient spot for hungry White Elephant patrons and library-goers.

The Myles have been in business since July, and celebrated their inclusion on the Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce with a ribbon-cutting on Friday.

The Myles also run "Divine Mini Donuts" at the Clubhouse at Rancho Sahuarita and at Sahuarita Parks and Recreation events, including the Sahuarita Farmer's Market on Wednesday nights.

NEWS FROM SLOVAKIA

Our Kiosk was a WONDERFUL SUCCESS...In September we want to buy another machine, and next year we plan to buy a minimum of 3 machines ! All customers love our DONUTS !! In 4 months we sold more then 100,000 donuts... it's good?

We need more money to build a network of "happy donuts "in our country but as you said.. step by step... thanks for all! "

Martin

Danny Quinn, Deputy Sheriff, with Brian O'Gara (our Sales manager) plans expanded event operations. "Great business wouldn't trade it for anything", he commented.

Hi Ed

"I bought our first machine from you in July 1979 so we have now been making mini donuts for over 30 years. You might remember I was one of your first distributors and tested your Frigid Midget. My wife and sons still run the business at Soulard Market each Saturday and I just do parties to keep busy. Collectively we have over 90 years experience in making mini donuts.

My three sons help out on the bigger event like when we had three machines making 9,192 donuts for $2,520 one Sunday morning to celebrate a pastor's 50th birthday. The farthest I went to make donuts from St. Louis was to Dallas, TX which was an over 2,600 miles round trip. The parent's son said he wanted Donut Man Stan to make donuts at his Bar Mitzvah or else!

Anyway, just wanted to say hi again after all these past years and will continue to use your donut mix as my wife and customers wouldn't let me do otherwise! I have enjoyed working with your great crew and with your wife, Pat, before her passing."

INTRODUCING OUR DONUT BUCKET

Donut Bucket

This idea has been tested with three operators in the US with good results. One large carnival operator (running five 2400 machines) went through 40,000 buckets in two months while they also offered the standard bag of 1 dozen mini donuts for $3.00! They offer two choices to the buying customer.

(1) Our Standard glassine bag holding about one dozen generally selling for $3.00 per dozen (USD).

(2) When they present the donut bucket they have been getting from $8.00 to $10.00 per bucket! They set up a sample bucket filled to the brim with fresh mini donuts topped with cinnamon sugar and put it on display. (Note: you don't have to go into details with your customer, but each each bucket holds 30 mini donuts (about 2 1/2 dozen) which would amount to a selling price of $7.50 per dozen by the bag or $4.00 per dozen by the bucket.)

Thanks and best regards

After hours his stands are totally enclosed for security.

What Makes Lil' Orbits Taste So Good

In a nutshell, here's why:

  • They are usually served before they are minutes old. That's why they seem to melt in your mouth!
  • No strong spices. Our special flavoring extracts have been added to give a rich, creamy taste.
  • With mini donuts there is more tasty crust in relation to the dough than with larger donuts.
  • Solid-state timing controls cooking time to the split second.
  • And, there is an intangible...what doesn't taste better when it's cooked right in front of your eyes with plenty of action.
