Minneapolis, MN. Ed Anderson, President of Lil' Orbits, Inc. is introducing his automatic greaseless cooking machine especially designed for pancakes and crepes.
Called the "Uni-Matic" it uses Dupont Teflon belts which travel over electrically heated platens during the cooking process. Solid state controls yield perfectly cooked pancakes or other food items that are normally skillet fried. "We call it the anything-you-want-to-cook machine and it's great for French toast too.", Anderson stated.
The process is simple. Mix your batter and pour into the dispenser. Then set your controls. Each amount of batter is controlled according to the size you want and cooking is timed as you wish.
Pancakes are cooked on both sides, while crepes are cooked on only one side. When making crepes fillings can be added while the cooked crepe pauses then a curling roller wraps the fillings and deposits in a receiving tray.

The Uni-Matic sets up in minutes and produces pancakes in various sizes. For example it will make 360 medium sized or 180 large sized pancakes per hour. If you want mini pancakes production goes up to 1,800 per hour. The same volume estimates apply to small, medium and large crepes.
"This machine is fascinating to watch during the cooking process and can be used behind the scenes or when operating in full public view the action and aroma does all the selling for you," Anderson commented.
The Uni-Matic weighs less than 70 pounds and operates on 110V, 60 Hz or 220V, 50 Hz. Certifications include NSF 4. Construction employs food-grade stainless steel and aluminum. A tamperproof digital counter keeps track of all products produced and all components are interchangeable which eliminates service calls.
